Available positions

The sales executive is the customer’s main representative to the dealership. The Sales Executive is responsible for all aspects of the sales process, from identifying prospective customers to maintaining ongoing relationships that encourage repeat business using our dealership processes and customer retention. Throughout the sales process, the sales executive is expected to help customers choose a new or used vehicle, demonstrate various vehicle options, accessories and financing alternatives. The sales executive will also play an important role in representing the dealership’s parts and service departments with their customers for future maintenance or repair needs.

The automotive technician is responsible for the service and repair of vehicles as assigned by their “Team leader.” The automotive technician position may require various levels of skill and prior work experience, the specific position we are currently seeking is a licensed and experienced technician.

The Valet is the person responsible for assisting dealership customers with receipt, parking, and general logistics when dropping off or picking up their vehicles. This associate must be energetic, friendly, and have the ability to stand for extended periods while serving our customers. All applicants must also have a valid driver’s license and a clean vehicle driving record to be considered.

Position Overview and Responsibility

The IT support technician provides physical and programming assistance to the

Penske Automotive Group IT department at dealer level. This

position performs a variety of IT-related tasks, including; acquisition,

installation and maintenance of personal computers, VOIP and network connections, and

telephony.

       • Assists with the installation and maintenance of personal computing systems, network hardware and software; performs diagnostic tests, modifies or repairs hardware; collects and records appropriate data related to these functions

       • Assist with employee onboarding, access to systems, maintenance of communication rooms and all related technology facilities

       • Assist corporate IT in the management and direction of local dealerships, including prioritization, coordination and reporting of daily activities using established processes and help desk ticketing system.

       • Plan and coordinate with PAG Corporate IT store equipment movements, new facilities, construction and business-critical projects. This will also include coordination with local/national suppliers and telecommunications providers.

       • Proactively plans and anticipates IT needs/resolves issues to ensure systems operation.

       • Ensure rapid response from suppliers to critical PAG issues and escalate accordingly

       • Follow-up with end users of critical events to ensure customer satisfaction

       • Maintain standards as required by current corporate policies, procedures and standards

       • Support of third-party technologies and manufacturers

Ratings

       • Bachelor’s degree in related fields or relevant work experience

       • 3+ years of field or related IT experience

       • Fluency in English and Spanish

       • Knowledge of:

      • Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft cloud products

      • LAN/WAN network topologies, VOIP systems

      • Point of sale/credit card systems

       • Walking and standing for considerable periods of time

       • Handle moderate to heavy equipment

       • Travel between dealerships: have reliable transportation

       • Lifts up to 50 pounds

Personal skills/Attributes

       • Strong interpersonal, analytical, oral and written communication skills are needed

       • Ability to collaborate effectively at all management levels

       • In-depth understanding of company operations and departmental procedures

       • Ability to prioritize a wide variety of tasks with limited supervision or direction

       • Willingness to continue growing through external and internal training sessions
